Yay for weekends, I can sleep in, or not. This morning, I ended up getting up around 6am or so, due largely to my body just wanting to wake up. Yep, got home and immediately plugged in the thumb drive and went to it, installing Adaware first, and it took a while, but it installed and went to it after I told it it to scan and stuff, it cleaned up a bunch of shit, then did dinner and while at it, installed Spybot, search and destroy and let it loose.

Actually, it went well for my first day back at work. The drive out to the new lot not as bad, and the trip down via shuttle takes about 2 minutes. Turns out it cuts south to SE 36 and down the hill to the north side of the campus and drops us off at NP4's front entrance, and I just had to take the elevator down to P5 level of the parking garage ( Read more... )

Just finished breakfast and listening to more of up by R.E.M. that I have on vinyl from 1998. It's a good album, though not one that is as enjoyable as some of their others, like, say, Out of Time.

Realized I'd not posted AT ALL, all week except for last Sunday. Wow.

Anyway, it's been rather cold out there. Yesterday, we were 4 degrees below normal for the high (48F) and ended up 13 degrees below normal for our low, which hit a bone chilling 26F overnight. It's been around freezing or so all week at night, well once we got past Monday anyway ( Read more... )
